Electronic Information Resources at Charles University in Prague

Welcome to Charles University Electronic Information Resources Portal providing access to electronic information resources for science, research and education. You can find here:

licensed resources - access is based upon license contract with database vendor or provider. Access is available for students and academic staff of CU from their computers attached to the university network. The other access possibility is utilising of remote access
free resources available freely without a license contract for public use.

The portal is running as a part of the University information system.

You can browse available resources by:

alphabetical order	all resources sorted in alphabetical order
institutions	resources relevant to a specific faculty or centre
domains	resources relevant to specific domains
trials	resources that can be accessible only for trial period (usually months)
free resources	resources that can be accessible for free from any location

Usage restrictions

Electronic information resources may not be used for any non-academic (and profit) purposes. It is only allowed to use them for personal studying. Massive downloading of resource content is considered a violation of licence agreements and consequently an access to whole University resources can be forbidden!
